| Grace was born weighing only 1.5 ounces. At 2 days old I took her to Dr. Bryan and we put fluids under the skin to help hydrate her. Her temperature was 94 and I didn't think she was going to make it. I kept her in a basket with heated rice socks to keep her temperature up. The only way I could feed her was with a syringe. She started out only eating 1 cc at a time. After numerous trips to the vet for fluids I finally got her to take more and more formula. I fed her every 2 hours night and day for 9 weeks. |
